Default Command Trac vacuum elimination

Ok Jeepers, I know somewhere on this forum I found a pretty detailed instruction on changing the front axle command track vacuum actuator over to a full time engaged axle thus eliminating the vacuum pod.

Yes, I searched first but must not be using the correct search term. If you know where this is please post or pm me. Thanks.

Glad you got it. Make sure you got it all yanked out. There are vacuum lines that run to the transfer case and front axle. If you start tracing the lines out, you will find a web of lines that should start as a single line at the engine. Make sure you pull the line from the engine and cap it to prevent vacuum leaks.

i did that for a bit, but then i just swapped out the whole front axle unit for one from a limited that didn't have the vacuum actuator.

couldn't be bothered fixing the CAD disconnect on every trail ride anymore.
