Make yourself a cowl snorkle and actually get some cold air. A few ideas in this thread:

For more air flow I have a hard time that K&N actually cleans as well as a paper filter yet managed to move more air... oil or no oil the holes between the gauze are huge. I'm working on a cowl intake with a filter the same idea as this: http://www.go.jeep-xj.info/HowtoAirFilter.htm

stock intake will get you colder air than most any of the "cold air intake kits" get something that grabs the air from outside the engine compartment, not in it.
I personally am a fan of stock, does a good job filtering, works fine, don't have to clean it.

a snorkel is really the only way to have an effective cold air intake.
and if you dont like the traditional look of a snorkel, then a cowl snorkel would be your best bet.
