my 01 xj has a 6.5 inch lift, not sure what brand it came on it when i bought it. it’s been beat up before i got it and passed time to replace most of it. starting with shocks and leafs, i already put new control arms on but i was mainly wondering if i should get shorter coils and put spacers, reason being is RE doesn’t make a 6.5 inch coil and i have heard all good things about their coils, my other option was bds but if RE is that much better i’d rather have that. daily driver and trail rig, id ideally like to have it ride pretty good on the road for a jeep and also tough and ride good on trails

short arm or long arms?
If its short arms then maybe consider the shorter coil alone - yes a smaller lift. it will ride better and won't be soo harsh wear/tear on components offroad either.
^ not a fan of that ^ ? shorter coil spring with coil spacer vs full length coil spring - meh ride quality would be somewhat negligible between the two.
