Default Coil spacers?

I am currently running a 4.5" bds lift with 32x11.50 tires. I am in desperate need of new tires right now and just found a great deal on some. The only problem is that the tires are 33x12.50. I already know for a fact that the tires will rub like crazy with my current setup, I originally tried to run 33s. My question is, if I ran a 1.75" coil spacer up front and added a leaf in the rear would that be enough to efficiently run 33s? Any input would be appreciated, thanks!

Trim your fenders and you can easily fit 33s

I thought about doing that but for now I'm going to try and run them without any trim work.

You can't lift a jeep and put big tires on it without expecting to have to trim or fold your fenders up...

I will do slight trimming if necessary. I just wanted to know if the spacers and an extra leaf spring would be enough to run 33s without trimming a bunch?

Not worth it. Do you have an SYE? Do you have an adjustable track bar? Do you plan on upgrading your steering?

No I don't have any of that right now. I wasn't sure if I was to the point where an sye was needed. However I did plan on getting an adjustable track bar.

SYE would likely be needed if you go up to 6". Adjustable track bar would be a must. Stock steering starts to get questionable at that height as well. Not to mention you probably wouldn't be able to get a decent caster. Are your control arms adjustable?

Along with the spacers and aal, you'll need an adjustable track bar, new steering, and preferably long arms...I wouldn't run short arms over 4.5" of lift. And a sye.

But if you can't fit 33's on a 4.5" lift, you're doing something wrong. If you bumpstop enough you could probably get away with no trimming at all. I'm not trimmed much at all running 33's on 1.5" of lift with no rubbing.

Yeah I thought I could clear 33s on a 4.5" but my dad is the one who put the lift on about 5 years ago. At that time he tried to put 33s on it and said it rubbed too much. I'm pretty new to this kind of stuff so I'm just trying to learn as much as I can from the forum. I appreciate all the help guys! Looks like ill just do a little trim work for now and upgrade to a sye and adjustable track bar.

You're much better trimming than going higher. I'm a little over 6" right now and really wish I could go down to 4.5"

33's do not fit in the fender wells. Unless you lift the jeep so high the tires are completely out of the fender wells you will have to trim.

Its not worth it. Trim the fenders. the higher you lift it the more alterations you will have to make.

Trim fenders, add adjustable track bar and SYE. No reason to use coil spacers.

May have been a wheel issue before, backspacing makes a big difference. You can also consider 33x10.50 instead of 33x12.50, I run the narrower tires and actually like them better. That being said trim over more lift for sure. Don't forget the expense of longer shocks, brake lines etc
