Hey I'm just wondering if anybody else has considered using this instead of carpet or vinyl.

It is getting extremely popular in the marine industry. It is mold and stain resistant. It also doesn't retain water.
I can say from experience this stuff is nearly indestructible. It's also softer than it looks.

I'm not sure how it will contour. I'm thinking of laying down some raptor liner, then making large snap in mats.
