I have seen the novak adapters but they seem pretty damn pricy! The Advanceadapter is a couple hundred dollars cheaper. Anyone have feedback on the difference between the two?

Also with my 231J TC how do i know if its 21 or 23 spline? Its in a 1998 XJ

91+ XJ will have 23-spline input.
GM trucks are driver drop. I believe there are adapter clock rings for XJ t-case. I would use the 4L60 with the engine since its electronically controlled.

Well kinda got some good news yesterday, if all goes as planned ill have a new much higher paying job within the month. Now my plans are kinda changing a little i think. Instead of trying and make the jeep a daily with 35's im thinking about the fun side of just putting a carbed 350 with a th350 in the jeep just to make is a screamin toy and get myself a daily to replace for fuel eco and what not.

Who knows, plans and ideas seem to change by the minute. Eventually ill figure it out! HAHA

Quote: Ah damn... didn't think about the IFS... I would of realized it about 20 minutes into the chevy tear down lol. Does anyone in the Kansas area on here happen to have a jeep body i can borrow for a while? Cursing myself because i had 2 donor jeeps but sold the land they were on so i scrapped them. Now im in need of a mock up jeep so my Daily isn't out of commission for a long time.
I'm in kc and have one you could use if your still interested
