Chevy brake lone swap

I just went out to buy a set of k1500 soft lines for my Xj. I looked at them and they seemed small. I got home and put then up against my OE soft lines and they are the exact sane length. According to a post in NAXJA these lines should be 6" longer? I got 94 k1500 front soft lines part number 77768/9. Did I get the wrong ones?

Yeah you got the wrong ones, did you make sure you said v8. Mine came from a 97 1500 v8

Try a 96 Dakota line. It fit great, just had to bend the hard lines a little. Plenty of slack.
