CHEROKEE on WRANGLER BODY
Has anyone ever thought about putting a Cherokee body on a TJ Wrangler frame? I did a search & don't see it mentioned.
I know there is 7" of wheelbase to work out, but if you move the front forward 2" and the rear back 5" is this doable? You wouldn't have to worry about uni-body frame flex with a Wrangler frame supporting everything.

Nearly every dimension and curve is wrong. There are a couple XJ bodies on frames on Pirate4x4. I think they used modified S10 frames, but I'd be just as much work to make one from scratch

Start with frame stiffeners like these http://dbmetalworx.com/#!/Frame-Stif...egory=13125360
Then do 2x4 or 6 rocker replacement, and tie the rocker to the stiffeners with 2" x .120 square tubing.. Mount a well built cage to the 2" sq tube, and you're ready for action..

Have you ever seen the frame on a wrangler tho?Its like a tooth pick small and thin as hell. All the work it would take i would go with a bronco and k5 frame,But like others have said if you brace up the xjs uniframe and throw a full roll cage in it is stiffer then a stock wrangler frame would ever be.

heyDB.
I've been on your site many times.
It looks like you make great products including your frame stiffeners.
I don't weld. How much $ do you think someone would charge to weld your stiffeners on?
FYI, you have a typo on the page you sent.
