Fabbed. Like I said I bought a project box from RadioShack, cut to the angle I needed for the roof, and mounted two 90 degree tabs on the side that could be attached using the visor clips. I think the box is 6x8x2" or something like that, fit perfectly. I used switches from otrattw and their little mounting plates that you can snap together to be able to get 7 in there. Lined the cut edge of the box with door edge guard, and screwed the thing into place.

Maybe a dumb question but... how do you control your rear wiper and defrost with a switch panel like this?

Relocate, use the new switches or delete them.

I'm not saying it won't fit, it may, but will likely require some (possibly extensive) modification. The other (potential) issue would be that the xj bezel is much lower so to speak, closer to the center consel/shifter/trans hump, where the tj has a little more space directly below it. I'm not sure if that would pose an issue or not, just throwing that out there

I cut a piece of sheetmetal and trimmed the trim and got 8 switches to fit and put the winch switch to the right of the instrument cluster. Switches from OTRATTW. Moved the power outlet down and added a USB outlet.

I ended up picking up an Overhead Console off of eBay. I'm going to wire them up there, I think. I'm not too sure. I may end up going with something different.

That looks really nice & clean, you have any pictures of the install / modification. I like how they look recessed a bit. Would love to see some photo's.

Very nicely done! Looks good! I like the trans temp location too! Was that a major pita or not too bad?

Default Jeep dash switch panel

I was wondering if any one had any luck finding a switch panel that will mount in the dash below the heater controls. I haven’t had any luck online finding one anywhere thanks

uses factory style switches in a few different spots ranging from below the hvac, ashtray, or overhead console.
