Cherokee Leather Interior Pics
Alright... so as much as I love my stock cherokee seats I've decided that i need to swap to some sort of leather in my truck as to keep it cleaner with all the dog hair that accrues on them.
I know expensive mod for just that, but as it's my DD and a suit is worn to work I would like to save myself the hassle...
So what I'm looking for is pics from guys that have done the swap... any suggestions?
I know the tracks from the 99-04 Grand Cherokee Seats fit directly into a Cherokee... So using them is probably my first option... forum, ebay etc...
2nd Option is to purchase a new kit from somewhere like leatherseats.com
Pricy but they'd do some fantastic Jeep embroidering in the headrests or back panel.
So anyone who has done either, or has other suggestions please chime in, post up pics, etc...
Cheers

Will Limited seats from pre 96 Cherokees fix a 98? Or do you think it has to be year for year? Did they change the seat rails in any models or years?

I just swapped a set of limited seats from an 01 xj into my 97......i got lucky and found a set that were heated....since my 97 didnt have the harness under the carpet for the power seat i just ran two power wires to my fuse box(one to power the seats and one to power the heater elements) and ran a ground....then you just run the jumper harness for between the seats under the carpet....i paid 200 bucks for both seats and the harness that contains the switches for the heated seats.....took me maybe 2 hours to do the whole install....i would try and find a set of limited seats from an xj the swap is easy and you can get the power bases for the cherokee
