I would say get it, Its a good deal And one of the most reputable products from one of the most reputable companies. I wouldnt by any cheap stuff when it comes to traction devices, stick with the high reputations even if they are the most expensive

The true trac on their website states that one carrier is for 2.72-3.54

The other carrier goes from 3.55 and all higher numerically. He needs the one for 3.55 and up not 3.54 and down that doesnt make sense....

3.55 and 3.54 are, for all intensive purposes, the same gearing. different manufacturers use different ratios.. 3.54 and 3.55, 4.11 and 4.10, etc.

the carrier break on a dana 30 is at 3.54/55; meaning there is one carrier for up to 2.73-3.55, and one for 3.73-4.88. the numerically higher carrier will not work on 3.55 gears.

OK, I think I get it now. The different True Tracs aren't gear ratio specific per se, they are CARRIER specific. One replaces the lower gear ratio carrier up to 3.54/3.55 and the other is for the higher gear ratio carrier 3.73 and up. Thanks for the info.
