Check Your Axle Lengths

I got aftermarket front axle, the disco eliminator type and manual hubs. had to replace one axle, it was 3/16 inch too long, so it bottomed out in the diff. I had upgraded the needle bearing on the stub axle to a plastic bushing, which has a flange. That extra sticking out of the axle squished that flange, when the hub was tightened causing the bushing to spin and melt. Anyway now have cut axle to correct length, and reassembled, checking end play of axle.

Beware of replacement, double check fit of everything you buy!
