Went out wheeling a little today.For awhile I have been hearing a "clunk" coming from my right front. After climbing a hill I got out to get a look at the view,and maybe see if I could find anything amiss in the front end. What I found was the bolt/nut for the lower control arm was totally loose and only had like 4 threads before the nut would have come completely off.

Tightened it down and the noise is gone. This could have ended ugly had I not found it.

 

That is why they make Lock tight and torque wrenches.. it also says in the directions to check them every now and then. I have started using these on some of the more critical components on my rigs
