I've have had two cobra40 ch with pa system and with in 6 months after i installed them they've burnt out. I'm tire of that I wanna why its interfering with the alternator and how I can fix that i have no carpet ether . It was ran start from the battery to the cb and at first I had the ground to the battery then switch it to the body and still had the same nosie. I'm stumped I also am changing to a 102" whip that i just pick up wanna now what a good cb will cost not going to expensive bit something within a 100 bucks . Ive also had Buddha hook up there amplifiers and noise cancellers and nothing seems to work ive tuned the cb before and still get the same thing each time my jeep is running if I'm trying to drive and take going down the road

 

I would say just make sure your antenna is tuned properly, I know if it's not you could blow it

 

Yea thats true ive also seen a couple of jeeps with static ground straps which helps ground out your vehicle so that way you done gets this feedback or interference with crap
