Where do others have their cb antenna mounted? i received a 25ltd cb radio from my father in law for christmas. i really had no intention of installing a cb in my fig yet, but since i got it did the install. im having troubles and i am wondering if my antenna is in a good place or not. i got a 4 ft whip and installed it right above my rear passenger taillight. is that a good place?

i bought my mount from you xjfirefighter, i heard it could be too low but i see many other jeeps have theirs in the same place. and tips or suggestions for me?

 

As far as reception ? I only use mine on the trails or in a convoy .
