Can someone identify how much lift these springs would give?
I am aware this is a bit odd and out there, BUT I am hoping someone can help me out (and save me time/skin off my knuckles). I have these second hand lift springs that came out of an XJ. They were given to me, but the guy had no idea on how much lift they give. They came with a pair of front N2 Rough Country shocks, so I want to assume they are also RC springs.
I know I could just install them but before going through all that trouble, I was hoping maybe someone is familiar enough with the RC lift springs and knows if these would be 3 inch or 4.5 inch lift?
Specs:
- 21.5 inches tall, unsprung as seen in photo (angle in photo is fisheye-esque, but I assure you 21.5, maybe 21.6 inches)
- Coil is 0.634 inches thick (diameter)
- 12 Coils not counting the smaller top loop
** they have been spray painted silver, BUT I did noticed bits of original silver paint from the factory, so either RC or RE brand**
I know that isn't much help, but if maybe someone has some 3 or 4.5" coil springs in their house, they could do a couple quick measurements to see if they are just like mine, and confirm which they are.
Again, sorry for the annoying and weird post, but it would save me the couple hours and bloody knuckles of installing them on my XJ to see what height they produce!
