A/C system delete---Which belt are you using?
Alright, I plan on tearing out what is left of my a/c system this weekend. Has anyone else done this? What size belt are you running now? Part numbers?
Or if there is a reason I should rethink removing the system, please explain.

Dunno about the belt size seeing as though I haven't done it. One thing I can tell you though is not to remove the compressor. Use it for OBA.

Well, I wanted to do the oba conversion but I also want to stuff two large batteries under the hood. I already have a small 12v compressor in my arsenal too.

Well, taking all of the hard lines and the A/C Tank (cylinder near the firewall, dunno the name) will free up more than enough room. Besides, the Compressor floats on a bracket so you won't be putting a battery there.
