Great write up on this. How much do you think you have invested in it total.

Probably right around 150, maybe a little less. I had bought stuff to do it one way and ended up going another route and returned some of what I had bought to get other stuff.

Manifold was $10, oiler and separator were 30, mini filter was 5. Pop off and check valve were 20. I spent 20 on a used compressor. Pressure switch was 12. Everything else was fittings and hoses.

eBay. Everything except the compressor and the assorted fittings I got on eBay.

You could probably find fittings cheaper online, but it was worth it for me to pay a bit more at the hardware store so I could figure out everything in the store. And I had to make a couple trips because I changed things along the way. So I recommend sucking it up and buying those locally.

HudsonN, where did you mount your tank? Using the bumper for a tank is an awesome idea, but I don't see myself changing out my bumper any time too soon. Just looking for tank location ideas...

I didn't mount it.

It's sitting directly behind the rear seats. If you noticed I put two quick disconnects on the tank. I did this so if I need to bring air to someone located somewhere that I can't bring my jeep I can just fill the tank up, disconnect it, and carry the tank to where needed.
