Buying a XRC8..
As stated, im going to be ordering an xrc8 winch. I really dont have questions about it other then how do i get it to run properly without overdrawing my electrical system, and does anyone have any promo codes for jegs or summit? Or any place that sells the xrc8?

When winching I like to hold the engine to 2500rpm and do a 10 second pull wait 10 seconds then do a other 10 second pull and continue until done winching. I have never trashed a battery or alternator or had winch issues using that method

Awesome, thanks guys for info and the site.. But i think im gonna goto winchdepot.com.. They do free shipping and include a xrc cover for free too. Can you match it mr. serious? Lol

Also its only 299.99.. Sorry man, ive seen you on here plenty of times, and im sure at some point you guys will get my business, but im gonna go with winchdepot.com. A difference of 115 bucks is decent when you have a budget. Thanks again for the info.
