Hi all.
I'm new here and hope I'm posting in the right place.

I've been shopping for a 98-2001 Sport for every day & some off road use. Could either be all stock and a project for me, or one that has already been lifted. Been doing my homework about what to look for as far as upgraded vehicles in that year range and stumbled upon a '93 that seems to have had a ton of stuff already done to it, seller is asking $3300.
To me it seems like it could be a good choice, ready to go out and play, compared to a comparably priced stock Sport from the local lemon lot. But being a '93 with 200K miles on it, I want to consult the experts here.

Looks fine. Check for rust and ****ty work under the hood and underneath.

 

Yea looks good and sounds like the guy took care of it/is in to Jeeps. Seeing it in person might be different but you'll just have to see. Good luck!

 

Thanks. Checked it out this evening. Looked pretty good under the hood & inside. Outside isn't pretty, but I passed one much in much worse shape on the way home. Picking it up tomorrow, so I'll probably be around here again before too long.

Had a 2wd 89 Comanche back in 92-93, but this is the first real off-road Jeep for me.
