Ok, I'm in a bit of a pickle.... I installed my front Fenders (Really pleased with the install), but now I have to do the rears & am looking for some ideas.

I've got rust on the back quaters just behind the rear tires:

I am planning on doing a "Cut & Fold" to get rid of the rust & will have some fab work done to my rear bumper to wrap around the sides. My questions is has anyone installed the flat fenders and did the "Cut & Fold"? Some options I'm looking at are;
1) cut the bushwackers @ a 45º angle so they don't hang down past the cut area.
2) Do the cut & fold, install the fenders, have my buddy work on my bumper & install the bottom section of the fenders to the new bumper wrap arounds..
Any help, pictures, ideas would be appreciated...
Thanks,
Dan

I have looked for someone that had done this haven't seen anything yet. Mine was rusty as well ended up pop riveting a license plate to cover the rust and give the flare something to mount to. Doesn't look too bad, haven't got around to spray painting yet. Planning on just putting bed liner on the bottom and doing at that point.

Anyone ever find a good solution for this? I was looking at the dirtbound offroad rear cut n fold bumper but would like to somehow retain my flat flares without just doin a straight chop.

This is the only picture I have ever found of a comp cut and flat flares. I found it on facebook but don't know who's it is
