Default Bumper Question

Has anyone bult a rear bumper and used 2"x4" tube and angled the outer edge to 2"x2" then attached 2"x2" tube along the side under the rear quarer panel? I would like to see some pictures if so I am thinking about building this. I think it would be good for approach angles. Thanks for the help.

Dude that is too exact of a question. My advice would be get some cardboard and make it out of that to see how you like it.

Or use wood. I ripped some 2x4 down and nailed them together and cut the angles with a chop saw.using sqaure tube made it easier to use wood than cardboard for me.

True that, I was gonna say plywood, but not everyone has it lying around. Everyone at somepoint has access to cardboard

Like this? Except I am using round tube on the sides. Still a work in progress.

Most likely. I didn't plan on the sides so I'm probably going to cut and fold then bring the tubing in and under to give it a better look
