Default bumper hitting body

So I installed the XRC rear bumper....now there is awful knocking when i go over bumps in the rear.....apparently its the bumper hitting the body....i cant get it in until Friday to get trimmed up if needed( lol i've taken it off 2 times alone and put it back on.. i'm over it)....so my question is how bad is it to drive with it like that untill i can get it repaired?

I'm sure it's fine. Unless it not attached properly theres no way its moving enough to cause any real damage

Yeah actually I heard a knocking from the rear when mine were shot. See if you can get under there and listen while you have someone jump on the back and move the suspension.

How long have you had the bumper on for? Are you going over the same bumps as before you had it and are just now noticing it? Whats your shackle angle look like?

Well there's your problem...
When the suspension flexes, that shackle swings back.

Look into a boomerang shackle, that might fix it. Or get happy with a grinder and cut away the offending metal from the bumper.
