Default Bumper

I went to a yard sale today and this guy was selling tons of jeep parts. He had a few bumpers, one of which came off the rear of an Mj. It was only $20 and I wanted to get it before anyone else did. I know it won’t fit on the back of an Xj but is there any way I can mod it to fit the front?

Yea I can weld. I’m just alittle confused because the Jeep XJ doesnt have bumper mounts like the mj. Correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t the stock xj bumper bolt directly onto the frame??? And btw, I changed my mind about putting it on the front. It’s not the right width and it wouldn’t look right. So I’m trying to figure out how to put it on the rear.

That is a smoking deal. Just cut off the old brackets and make brackets to fit.
