Default Bump stops for front coils spinning

Installing a 4.5 zone kit. About to put springs on and I think I have messed up the tap somehow. passenger side bump went on tight ..driver side bolt won't tighten down once it gets to stopper. any ideas what I should do?

Spinning wouldn't be a problem but being loose it may fall out. You could use some RTV or silicone to help keep from loosing it. Just what I would do for a quick fix.

May add a washer or two sometimes it will not strip out the whole area and you'll be able to tighten it up still

This is good to I wasn't thinking it would be later accessible but you can reach in there through the springs I suppose just won't be tapping anything new

I just drilled both holes out with a step bit and used a 1/2" bolt long enough to get a nut and washer on the axle side.
