One thing I found out with mine is make sure the hitch fits or you have rust work to do.

Yeah, Mine is tight for sure, Ill be doing some cleanout of the receiver soon. I did overlook this when finding a hitch to use for the job.

I guess I got lucky that its not much worse!

Bolts on top, these BARELY clear the hitch door. It's so close Im worried about thermal expansion causing an issue (no im actually not)

Good call! I wanted to use carriage bolts, but couldn't. The button heads will be way better.

Took the idea. Changed them out for black Button heads. Much better. Cleaner, smaller, black and smooth so it wont catch on anything. I also now have more clearance with the door.
