Default Budget boost on top of existing lift?

I have a 99 xj that already have a RC 3 inch lift, im looking to run 35's in the future, I'm wondering if anyone ever put budget boost stuff like coil spacers and shackles on top of existing lift? I'm trying to avoid buying entire suspension system to replace what I already have... I just want to see if anyone have any experience out there with this type of suspension?

Pros and cons?

There's a LOT you need to do at a higher height, sye, shocks, brake lines, track bar, steering, bumpstops. And then for 35's you'll need to regear and possibly an axle swap depending on what you've got. So yes you can put a budget boost on top of a lift, but you are going to need a lot more.

Oh yes I'm definitely prepared to do all the works, I'm on the progress of getting a sye and new gears brake lines etc. I'm going to make my own long arms and necessary mounts. My major concern is the travel of the suspension because it would be limited to the shocks that I have is designed for 3 inch llift. I think it's probably a better bet to get shocks from a 6 inch lift?

look at what comes in a 4.5" lift

compare that to what comes with your 3"

add pieces as necessary

shocks will be an issue, especially if you want to get the most out of your new suspension setup.

may also have to address driveline issues.

Actually I was thinking of adding 3 inch to my current set up. Probably 6 inch coils and 6 inch shocks instead of adding 3 inch spacer to front. But I'm not sure about doing the rears. Any way I can do bastard packs on my leaf pack that already have one 3 inch add-a-leaf? How well would a extended shackle work on the rear?

i wouldnt go more than 2" on a bb. if you wanna be in the 6" range then id recommend building or buying a kit. long arm would also be highly recommended.

I would build my own long arms only if I had measurements I'm not quite sure where to start measuring from point a to point b
