Well if it's a 1.5'' spacer, can I just get a 2'' coil spacer and shackle? If I got 6.5 coils, wouldn't I have to also get something for the leafs/rear? And if I went along with a 2'' budget boost, do you think I need to upgrade anything else? Brake lines, etc?

If you replace the 1.5" puck with a 2" puck all you'll get is .5" more lift. Not really worth the effort. If you stack them they can shift when you flex the suspension and dislodge and cause other problems. As far as the rear you can get a lift shackle to raise it. I'm not sure what control arms you're running but if it's a short arm the angles get steep at 6" and will ride pretty rough and you won't have much for droop. You'd need new shocks and address your drive shaft angle as well. There is a big difference in 4" and 6" price wise as to what all needs upgraded and replaced.

Yeah, I didn't think it'd be much of a gain, and I'm not going to stack them. I'll probably just hold off and save up for a full 6'' kit. Originally Posted by xjmarc

BTW are you sure you have 4" of lift cause those coils look stock. Aftermarket tend to be a little thicker. You have stacked isolaters and a 1.5" block so that's roughly 2" there.

It's possible. I'm honestly taking the guy's word until I upgrade it myself. Learning as I go too. He told me it has a 4'' hybrid rubicon/bastard pack.Originally Posted by xjmarc

Here's a pic if it helps determine my lift.

I mean honestly I scored an overall pretty nice deal on the XJ that the lift height wasn't my main concern, since I haven intentions on going to 6'' eventually.
So I'm looking into lifting again. If I get a 2'' shackle for the rear, will that be pretty even with the front? I think the front has a 1.5'' coil spacer. Or should I get like a 4'' or so coil? I'm new to lifting and am confused with how it works. What's the best way for me to achieve a 2'' lift, assuming I'm at like what, 3'' now?
Thanks
Thanks

Is that what the pucks are for? lol Shouldn't I upgrade my shackles too though? I also don't want to drop a lot since I just want a small boost while I save up for a 5-6'' lift with long arms. Are there certain vehicles I can look for at the yard?Originally Posted by stev-o
