Default Brown dog motor mounts

Lookin to order motor mounts what's better the poly ones or super flex ones from brown dog? I use it as a dd now and soon to be a dd and weekend wheeler. I also have a dodge pick up so the jeep is like a second vehicle I'm building but I drive it every day cuz I love it. Lol

I'm got the Brown Dog Rubber mounts installed on mine. I noticed a little more engine vibration from them. I read the poly's vibrate more.

Rubber is the way to go, but don't expect them to feel like stock. The rubber they use is not as soft as the OEM mounts. It will feel a bit different from what you're used to.

Also remember that BD gives a 10% forum discount.

I installed Brown Dogs (rubber) a couple of weeks ago, I recall the instructions stating the through-bolts should be tight but loose enough for one or both washers to move slightly by hand. Anyone do what I did and just snug them up or should I back them off a bit so the washers move?

I installed mine a couple days ago. I found the sweet spot where I could just barely move one then tightened a ch more. I haven't driven on them yet so no feedback from that.

I have the rubber ones. They vibrate a bit at idle but nothing bad. I've always driven older vehicles so I don't mind vibrations at all. I just don't want to ever have to deal with motor mounts again and brown dog mounts take care of that.

I snugged my rubber ones up during the install and ended up having to loosen them pretty considerably to find the sweet spot. Just drive them for a bit to get a feel for them and adjust as necessary. They will always cause significantly more vibration than stock ones will.

I have been running the poly ones for a few years now. They are great, but at stated you will definitely feel more vibrations. Mine isn't a DD so I don't mind.
