Sitting still in neutral would indicate an engine and/or mount issue. Sitting still in gear would indicate a driveline issue. Of course there are lots of other issues that could cause vibes....

In our experience, a torn transmission mount can transmit lots of vibration. After you change the t-mount, if you still have lots of vibes call us. We'll help you track down the source of the vibes.

i got them because i went through two sets of stock motor mounts in less then a year( i have a tcase drop im sure that puts more stress on them)
If you got the mounts that use a poly bushing instead of rubber then they will transfer vibration more. Its a harder material, there is no fixing it unless you switch back to a rubber bushing.

"To minimize vibration, we always recommend changing transmission mount when changing motor mounts. We also strongly urge carefully following instructions. " straight from the brown dog offroad web site

i ended up switching back to stock mounts and all vibrations are gone.
the brown dog mounts i have are rubber and there is nothing wrong with them, bushings are still good. i also changed the trans mount again.(did what the instructions said and replaced it when i put the brown dog ones in )

the cherokee is my dd. i have no carpet, and mt tires. im sure its not just the motor mounts falt but the less rattle/noise i can get in my jeep the better.

i dont mind the slight vibration its all the **** that rattles on my jeep because of it that drives me crazy. if i took the time to track down every piece of plastic that was making noise/ rattling and put in pading or something the brown dogs would be great.

i got these mounts after going thru two sets of stock mm in a few months. at the time i had a tcase drop and i think it was putting a lot of stress on the motor mounts. the brown dog mm held up great but now that i have a sye im gonna try the stock ones again for a while.
