brake lines
So this is gonna sound pretty dumb, but when you're bleeding your brake lines does the engine have to be running?

Okay, cause I replaced my calipers, rotors, and pads yesterday and so I went to bleed the lines after I was.done and the brakes never got.hard again? like there wasn't any air coming out of the line when I was bleeding it, it was all fluid. Any suggestions?

Did you start farthest caliper and work to closest?
Make sure you are pumping the brakes slowly to reduce the air that is disolved on the fluid.
Did the bleeder valve only get opened when the pedal was being depressed and then closed before it was released?
