They dont help for anything. Other than just change the way your shock mounts. I beat the poop out of my xj with stock bar pins and dont feel the need to have them.

i would get them for the rear. for the front, only if you want to open up choices for more shocks.

I put rears on mine. I don't hear popping as much anymore, only when it rains for some reason I do might be something else though.

i guess that if your bumpstopped and don't hafta worry about bottoming out ur shocks... it could allow for more down travel.. but obviously not much.i made a set for my jeepy its just a matter of welding em to wehre the old rear upper shock mounts used to be

What bilsteins? you know you can just press a bar pin through the bushings right?

As for running them, I never have, and never had a reason to. In the rear if you raise your lower shock mounts for ground clearance, the last thing you want to do is lower the upper mount as well. You will be limited to a very small shock.

You talking about using a bolt as the bar pin? I imagine you'd want a sleeve as the threads aren't gonn be nice to the bushings.

Quick Reply: BPE's do they work?
