Hey Everyone,
So I Just purchased a set of 33x12.50r15 Cooper Discoverer SST Pros for my 1990 XJ. I currently have a Dana 30 HP out of an 99 XJ for the front axle with upgraded 760 Ujoints. Out back I have an 31 spline 8.8 out of a 99 explorer that I am about to put an Aussie Locker in. both have 3.55 ratio.(I know, ill get to changing them). My question is I am going to purchase a set of Crager soft 8 wheels and need help picking them out. I am thinking the 15x8 with 4.0 backspacing but my only question is that the tire says it is rated for 8.5"-11.5" wide wheels. Will this be a problem, or should I go to a 10" wide wheel? Also, I like the tires to poke out and so will I need to change the backspacing if I go to a 10" wheel? I do intend to offroad this vehicle a good bit. I have never purchased wheels before so please school me.
Thank you for your time!
