Default Boostwerks 231 linkage adjustment help...

So I installed the Boostwerks 231 tc linkage on a 01 XJ and can't seem to get it right.

At first I had it stretched out pretty far and it wouldn't go into 4 low. So I tightened it up some and now it thumps when I roll like it is in between 2 wd and 4 high but the part time light is not on.

I have it set up in the middle hole on the tc side like in the pic below.

This is on a salvage I have been working on for a year to get back on the road.

I have the Jeep sold and they want it this weekend.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Call Boostwerks and ask them for advice they would be the best place to go.

Are you adjusting it by yourself?

What I ended up doing is making my roommate sit in the driver's seat manually shifted into 4-hi, and bolted it up.

Then we ran through the positions, made some minor adjustments, and it feels great. Super crisp shifts, positive engagement at speed (2-hi to 4-hi), and a huge improvement overall

The actual indicator light never works though, and most of the time it will just flash at me which is super annoying. I could probably get it dialed in with another turn to tighten it, putting more pressure on the shift indicator sensor, but I haven't gotten around to doing so

Make sure you test the shifts "on-the-go". I was having issues with engagement while I was at speed (into 4-hi), but I adjusted the linkage 1 or 2 turns and it was perfect after that.
