Default Bolt on performance parts? and lifts?

Ok so i am doing some (wishing) and thinking about stuff to buy/add for the cherokee... i will be working on thanksgiving which mean Double time!

thinking about buying this http://www.quadratec.com/products/17615_400.htm

Then adding this
http://www.quadratec.com/products/17008_001.htm

then this.
http://www.quadratec.com/products/17006_7101_07.htm

once that is done i wanted to fab somthing to turn into this. only nicer looking.

http://www.naxja.org/forum/showthread.php?t=1029953

Reason for this is it will give me a type of snorkle, get rid of the air box and then i will be able to run dual battery set up, and get more hp hopefully....Anything thoughts?

Also what if i was to add these things to the rear for more flex?

This.

Then this.

Ok... I have an airaid cold air intake and throttle body spacer. Don't waste your money on the trail jammer spacer or intake thing. If you want a true CAI get a snorkel because it brings in air from outside and generally cleaner air. For the throttle body, look on the vendor section I think for the link someone has about bored out throttle bodies. They're a much better choice. I watched the video about the rough country shackle relocates and they seem to work very well and are relatively cheap. I haven't read anything anywhere about the teraflex shackles though. There's a ton of other threads out about the air intake and all that stuff just search for a few of those and you'll find a lot of good info. For exhaust check out APN headers I hear good things from the thread in advanced tech and read up on there and look at YouTube to hear sounds of exhaust systems on XJ's

as far as the intake/tb/chip stuff dont waste your money. I kno everyone says the TBS doesnt do anything but mine did, what im getting at here is dont spend the $90 on the airraid, I found the cheapest one on ebay ($35) and its the exact same thing as that only not red and it dont say airraid, The intake well its proven to not really do anything but give you a better/cool sound, if you want a cold air get the intake tube from rustys and a spectre filter from autozone (about $50 total). It will do the exact same thing as the intake you listed (I have that setup myself). As for the edge chip I kno most chips out there for xj's require running 93 octane fuel (really expensive) and if you dont ive heard from multiple people that the motor will knock rattle and ping from running lean. The throttle body u listed just says machined, does that mean bored over or not? If its bored ive heard very good things about bored tb's but I know you can find them for around $60 if you look on here. As far as the lift options u listed well thats all up to you man whatever your looking for differs from what everyone else wants. All im saying here is IMO all that stuff is a waste of money BUT if you want those products u can get them cheaper other places. Dont always go for the first thing you find man theres always a better way.

Just my $.02 hope this helps ya

The reason i want that cold air intake set up is because it looks like a clean set up and it will allow me to remove the air box so that i can have 2 batterys. Once i get my roof rack and front bumper i will be running 6 kc day lighters, Jl audio sub/amp, all new speakers, new head unit, front headlight conversion to DELTA rectangle h4 conversion kit. not to mention the power converter i will be using while camping and stuff...

Also with that set up it will allow me to do the hummer style snorkle wich looks kinda cool and would work great and look real nice. This is a dd/camping/off road vehicle. not somthing i want to throw pvc on and say done although it would work.

You sure are planning to spend a lot of money for 2hp...

I'd probably do liberty injectors and a full exhaust instead.

makes sense for the dual battery setup but then again you could always relocate the 2nd battery to the hatch or even get the cheap diy kit from spectre at autozone and make the exact same thing for less, im just looking at this from a budget standpoint if you want those mods get those mods but its always nice to save a lil dough

You might not even need a second battery, but a juicier alternator. Or neither.

Just got done doing 2.5" exhaust, cherry bomb, new cat, and o2 sensor.

So i need to get a header and the intake system....

Trail jammer = prob not going to get..... I thought if u added the chip or w/e it would make a bigger differance than 2 hp...

Tb spaer = going with cheapest one i can find.

TB spacer a waste. Good on carbs, gives the fuel and air more time to mix properly. Fuel injected vehicles all your doing is creating more distance the air has to travel before its in the cylinder... do what you will but I'll never by one

I got this throttle body spacer http://http://www.quadratec.com/products/17009_0000.htm and immediately noticed better throttle response and my gas mileage went up slightly. I was starting to feel lag and this made everything better at least for my XJ. For $70, I think it was worth it. I should also add that I have the Rock-It Max flow intake as well, but this was put on about 2 years before the TB spacer.

Well i am wanting to do the detla tech headlight conversion to the jeep also.

But will will see what my next few checks look like and this will determine if i am going to throw this kind of money at the jeep or not....

i will probably be going with the spectre kit for sure It will act like a snorkel in some ways and give me the opening for the dual battery set up. And if i dont do the dual set up it will clear some junk out from under the hood .

But i keep looking at the new jcr bumpers and those things are so sick.
