Kit is gona run bout 5 to 750 bucks it will not protect it if rocks hit it. Like i said in the other post this kit will be able to protect ur truck from brush branches ect i have put it threw a couple of test runs an they did not fall of the truck bc of the way i designed them. Now with this aplication i invented people that have custom paint an expensive trucks can go threw an bushes brush they want an not have to worry at all. I have a custom too ton paint an made my own trails threw the woods an nothing happend to my truck or armor.
so how is this actual armor when it doesn't protect against rocks? say I bounce of the side or roots of a tree, will it protect?

regardless of weather people on here like the idea or not, if you can find a market for them, maybe expensive show trucks, then run with it and good luck dude. most jeep owners will put function over form when it comes to their rigs though so you might not have luck with sales here lol

Hmmm, I am interested in seeing this. Sounds like what OP is trying to say is that it is more for small branches than tree trunks and rocks. Also seems like he is trying a different mounting method rather than welding riveting or whatever have you, so that your not screwing up the body of your XJ. I am not gonna knock on this as I have personally seen some crazy stuff such as "welding" to wet pieces of plate together with nothing but water and air and making a very strong bond.

So from what I gather, this product is supposed to protect from scratching clear coat on limbs and what not and a different mounting method. Post some pics when available.

I don't agree with this guys idea either, but all the bagging on him is exactly why some people don't join forums and communities. Wrong attitude for someone asking you for help.

Honestly man I wouldnt buy a press on armor kit, or any armor that's not semi permenant, but maybe you could design some snap on system instead. I still would go the bolt/weld on route over that though.

I m trying to do it the most inexpensive way possible that number i said was ball park. But the armor is for people that dont want to screw in or bolt on its a tear proff materil i m useing it want protect a rock smashin into the truck but for the people that do trail riding it will protrct them. Its gona be for all jeep modles thats why its taking a little bit longer to com out with. I will have pics of that armor in the next couple of weeks.

Is it for protecting against rocks or not?

The only thing I can think of that would hold armor onto the side of my jeep as its laying on its side being dragged over rocks is the crap they use to hold on the shuttles tiles... And we all know how strong that crap is.

Not to bash on you but as a side note. If you read posts by other venders, you'll notice they use full thought out sentences with correct spelling and semi-correct punctuation. I'm not saying I absolutely wouldn't buy from a vender who doesnt use proper english but I would for sure think twice about it.
