Depends on what your definition of mess up is. I personally love the look of cut fenders. Says I GO OFF-ROAD... THESE TIRES AREN'T JUST FOR LOOKS YA KNOW. well mostly. There's a jeep around here that looks like it won a quadratec shopping spree. Problem is I've never even seen it with road dust on it. And it doesn't have a ding in it..... fresh wax!! Whatever floats your boat I guess.

Then keep stock tires. Because if you go bigger and start wheeling you will damage the body, whether you cut it for tires or not.

You can run bigger then stock with cut fenders and not mess your body up. If nothing else mod the bump stops if you have to.

I wheel but not every weekend so damaging the body prob is unlikely. If I run 31s though I'll prob have to lose most of my flare. Did you cut yours ? If you can post a picture so I can see how it looks that'd be awesome.
