bfg krawlers vs. pitbull rockers
I'm planning on
purchasing a set of one of these tires and putting them on bead locks for rock crawling only. Which in your opinion is a better rock tire, I'm thinking krawlers but never used either opinions appreciated, also any other tire suggestions would be nice, I'm currently running iroks, but I have no interest in mickey Thompson, nitto, or dick cepecks. Thanks for the opinions

Hands down the bfg krawlers. ive been around and ran many other tires. they just work. they are so damn sticky in either blue or red label its unreal. i would also recommend the maxxis creepy crawler, they have less sidewall failures than goodyear and bfg.

I do like the look and reviews of the creepy crawlers, but I was expecting the bfg krawlers to be the highest priced tire, the creepy crawlers are another $75 each

I know a few running the Rockers and they are OK but the sidewalls are crazy stiff. Bead locks are a must and you have to run low single digits for a while to break them in. Don't care for blue label Krawlers but the red labels are great for rock. But like any sticky tire they won't last all that long. Treps are great in rocks, mud, dirt you name it. They will most likely be my next set of tires. I've got friends that run WERock, XRRA, and ECORS and they love the Treps and red labels. I know one that runs Pit Bulls on his ECORS XJ but he's sponsored by them so that's a no brainer. His buggy has reds on it though.

Tell your dad he's got a sweet looking 3B. Never seen anyone run radius arms on one. Has it been stretched because it looks longer than the ones I've been trying to buy the last few years. One day I'll find the right one.

I have maxis creepy crawlers mounted on racelines. I have yet to use them on my jeep yet but a friend of mine had them on his tj and took them out west and they grip like crazy.
here is a couple pictures with them in action
After these I think I will give the rockers a try they just look awesome

Well it's kind of a mutt ...jeep body, Nissan pickup engine frame and trans, Toyota axles locked and geared, Sami t case twin sticked , 3link front 4link rear , no springs anywhere to be found only nitro charged shocks, ect and yes he stretched it alittle so he had better entry angle he had it appraised .....ready ... 90,000$ jeep .... And insured for 100,000$ . I hope the ol xj gets there one day.

You need to call around for better tire prices methinks.
There are deals to be had out there.
Anyway red label krawlers hands down for just rocks.
Havent seen blue labels in action enough to have an opinion.

You can find deals on used 37" reds.
No sense in buying them new. They work better after they're broke in.
Reds work until they don't hold air anymore.
