Default BFG KM1's in snow?

I recently sold my '89 xj and bought a '98 with a 4.5in lift and 33x12.5 bfg mud terrain km1's. Do these tires pack snow a lot and slide if they aren't siped?

I had 255/75 which were only about 10" wide and they did great in the snow since they were so narrow. I'd imagine a 12.5" tire would still be ok if you still have over 8/32nds tread.

I've got the same tire albeit in the 31in flavor. I've never had a problem as long as there is a fair bit of tread on them 8/32 is about it. The snow sheds out of the tires fine.
