Better ride quality on RE 3.5 kit
Currently running a 3.5 Re super ride kit. It it one of the older models. It has the extreme duty leafs in the rear. I have done some investigation about it. I do know these kits run a bit high. My jeep actually sits about a 4 in lift. I threw a bds 3/4 spacer on the front to level it out and it seems to ride a tad better. I know the right thing to do is go long arm but wondering if there are any inexpensive solutions

The coils are spring rated to 241 lbs which is stiff compared to the stock 150 lbs. I have the same lift and ended up getting Rustys 4.5" coils since they are rated the same as stock. Much better after that.

So you were sitting level with a 4.5 rustys coil on the front and the RE 3.5 leaf in the rear? Did it effect your control arms, brake line length, or driveshaft length?

In the rear I have leaf sliders which brought me up 0.5" so it matched the front. If not you'll be off by about half an inch.
So far the coils are good.
Also what SeriousOffroad said.

ok might look into that. my lift kit is about 5 years old i do know that. my jeep is my DD so ride quality is a priority. cant say for sure what exact specifications my shocks are. likely RE. the thing is really the whole jeep rides like a freakin dump truck(i mean rough as HELL), thanks for the input man
