Might want to make sure the radiator you pick up has a lifetime warranty.
I'm on my 3rd radiator.

Who knows how good the warranty will be if it needs replacement, pro-rated and all, but at least the manufacturer has enough confidence in their radiators to make that claim.

Anyone have any experience with a 3-core radiator? I have a 4.6L Stroker and these one-core radiators just don't have the volume I need.

I just installed the mishimoto. Got it at cost through work. UPS beats the hell out of them though. She had some bent tabs but wasn't broken. Working fine at the moment but havent put any real miles on yet

I have a 3 core brass in my 1987, it's been in the jeep over 20 years. I pulled the tanks off a couple years back and rodded it out. Well worth the money and I don't have heating issues here in Tucson. I'm also using a Flow Kooler water pump and a Mr Gasket thermostat.

Stick with OEM radiators. The cheap ones don't last for more than a few years (if that) and when they decide to fail, ya then overheat and cook your headgasket...creating a bigger $$$ mess.

I recently replaced the radiator in my '96 with a unit from Crown. Cost around $140 and looked identical to the one that came out. Plastic sides and aluminum core. No idea if the one I took out was OEM.

Cheap and effective
I live in the desert and am using a 3 core all aluminum radiator. I have a 88 so I also switched to the new style and ditched the pressure overflow jug. I got it from pro tuning lab. Was less than 140$ and works awesome. Don't know how long it will last but so far so good. The quality looks good.

My recommendations:

1. lifetime warranty
2. all metal
3. 2 core

Also recommend replacing the upper and lower hoses at the same time, and buy a new radiator cap and make sure it's functioning correctly

Would also consider replacing the thermostat and water pump at the same time.
