When it came time for me to replace the lift I had on my Jeep, I did not consider the "Best" and "for the money" at the same time.

I'm probably going to get flamed for my choice (as I have in the past), but for me I went with the Iron Rock 6.5 Critical path 3-link setup w/ adjustable LCA's.

I guess the beef here would be with the Caster Adjustment, some people don't like it.

For me I went with what is proven by the guys I go wheeling with, who have never had a problem with the caster adjustment.

Just checked out another members new Full Traction long arm kit and I'm liking what I see. Money,,,, meh,,, it's all perspective really, will any of them NOT perform? Are they worth it? Will either of the ones out there be all you hoped they are after you get it and install it?

I'd say ANY of the ones out now are hands down way better than what the factory has to offer and you can't go wrong with what ever choice you make.
Some are better looking, some are better priced. If it's a budget your concerned about, get whatever looks best to you that you can afford and ROCK that build.

The rules are posted in the ForSale forums, why not start there?

https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f70/ve...e-read-178221/

"1: it is required to have a 25 post count to post a for sale ad. If post count is not 25 the ad will be removed and a pm will be sent. Please don't be a jerk if you get a pm. We are just doing our job."

I'm a fairly new / low post count user. I can create [FS] posts no problem.

I have an older TnT radius arm setup. I love how the arms mount above the bottom of the frame rail and how they're bent to clear the wheel at full cut. I don't like how my kit has a one piece crossmember but this has been changed since.

If I were to do it again I would go with a 3-link setup. It's just a better system because the castor doesn't change nearly as much as the suspension cycles.

TnT still uses a one piece cross member. Only thing that unbolts is the transfer case skid.

you can turn your TNT kit into a 3 link pretty easily. that's what I should've done all along. that belly pan is way too awesome to give up

You're right, I stand corrected.

This is just a PITA because you cannot service the trans without dropping the pan. Dropping the pan wouldn't even be that bad for most people but because I broke the crossmember bolts I have to remove my seats and carpet to get to the nuts on the top. Its a couple hour event just to get the crossmember on/off.

That is a damn good idea. How much separation do you think the links should have at the crossmember?

Even though my lift is fairly new (will take some pics one of these days), but I am really digging my Clayton Offroad long-arm.

I don't think I'd run less than 4", which means cutting through the floor
