Hey fellas, I recently bought my 1999 Jeep Cherokee XJ 2WD (I know what you’re thinking, oh jeez another 2 wheeler but hear me out) I don’t go off-roading much to need 4WD, was limited on my price range, wanted a clean daily driver, and found an absolute gem of a 2WD XJ that had been really well maintained and was the perfect price so I pulled the trigger. I’m wanting a lift that will make it stand out plus I need to replace the front springs and back leaf springs anyways (the rebound is very bouncy) since it’s a 21 year old suspension system but nothing insane since it’s still a 2WD I’ve been looking into lots of different lifts and was thinking about a 2” or maybe 3” lift (hard maybe). Any and ALL advice/suggestions/past experiences from y’all experienced folk would be much appreciated. Please make it as detailed as possible since I’m a newbie to this kinda stuff. And if you do have a setup that you recommend I would love pictures of it on your Jeep if possible.
