good to hear this experience from someone on here. i have been humming and hawing over those leafs for two years now. aside from deavers, those leafs look the best on paper.

How much actual lift did you get out of the IRO springs?

Jeep sits pretty level with 4.5 springs up front. Haven't measured though. That's with a spare in back too.

Someone was telling me since im going for a low cog 3" to run the stock leafs or new oem leafs. Shackles for a 2" lift and shackle relocation brackets? For the best flex at least?
Anyone knowledged on the subject?

Its like 5 pages, but lots of knowledgeable folks posted, and got some good info to me.

I'm thinking I'll end up with a XJ/MJ combo and relocation brackets.

Hope some of this helps out.

So I went to use the leafs that I got out of storage today. Cracked the centering pin while trying to remove it to replace it with one for my leaf spring shims. And then on tops of that, one of the leafs in the pack is cracked.

I was looking around and I see that I can buy 3.5 Rubicon Express packs for $112 each, with free shipping. I'm going to take a look at the Pro Comp, too. Wouldn't mind saving a few bucks.

I also accidentally ordered a fixed shackle from IronManfab. The relocation kit adds 1.5'', and I think this shackle will add at least 3''. I just need to get to 6-7''.

I just relifted with re 3.5" leafs and a 1" boomerang shackle and it sits level with the front with re 5.5" coils with long arms. They ride awesome 10x better then the rc 4.5" lift and 2"bb it had from the p.o.

That's reassuring! Where did you buy yours from, just curious. They're $112 each, with free shipping off Amazon. Want to make sure it's legit haha.

I run these also. They come with 3 leafs and a overload. I put in my old main leaf with the eyes cutoff right under the new main. also removed the overload worked awesome.

I forgot to mention "best leafs.. for my budget". Back when I made the thread, I was looking into spending a bit for a quality leaf. Well, now I'm kinda in a pickle, since I wasn't expecting my old leafs to be so.. old. Can't budget a quality leaf at the moment and need the Jeep to be drive able asap.

I'll check Frank's price out. I have his long arms and bought my shocks through him. Always very satisfied when dealing with Serious.
