If money don't matter trucklite or jw speaker both are led replacement head lights.Budget would be h4 e coded headlights with the wiring harness and relays.Next step up from that would be the same h4 headlights but use a led replacement bulbs like olympus off road and few others offer now.

Those black mamba lights are far from dot legal and have no hint of a cutoff so you will blind other drivers.

I have been driving with them for over a week now. Several hundred miles of night time driving under my belt with my trips to Alabama and was flashed for the first time the other night by a driver in a BMW Z3 on an unlit road. Take it for what its worth since it was such a low car.

The beam spread is not ideal no. A clean cut off is definitely better. But these lights are not anywhere near as bad as cheap HID projector housings.

The company stated on their facebook page they meet DOT regulations.
Another user said he got in contact with them and he was told they are DOT approved.

There is no way they are DOT approved, its not stamped into the assembly anywhere.

So take it for what its worth. I dont know if they meet regulation or not.

They are not bad for on coming drivers, I have driven past cops and behind cops thus far. No issues.

Just take that info at face value. Please dont flame me, this has just been my experiences with this lights.

No offence but saying they aren't that bad because there's a worse option out there is hardly a good comparison. Not getting on you, I'm getting on the products.

The whole point is to try NOT to blind people. Whether other people are blinding people should not influence you trying not to... people rob people all the time.. should you? No...
