Best HD SYE for a 231?
i have a advanced adapters sye . havent had a single problem yet and the kit is beeeefcake!!.. comes witha full chromo shaft . i also beefed up the case chain with a chain out of a s10 231 case . its about a 1/4 inch wider(beef) same with the drive gears cheap and easy upgrade. i had a HnT and upgraded to this , its been going strong for about 2yrs
I heard I could also use the gear set from a 242? Not sure if the chain is bigger on those.
Again, thanks for the feedback!
I have been running My AA SYE now for 6 almost 7 yrs with no issues. They are pretty much the standard. Terra flex, and JB convercions make ones that are actuall y shorter, but D/s length really isnt as big a deal on the Xj as it is on other rigs.

JB CONVERSIONS!! if you look at their website or even better give them a call they will give you many reasons why their product is the best! and the same price and the AA.

They yolk they supply is stronger and gives more angle to your double cardan joint. I went with their product because of all the resons they list on their site AND because it is 100% made in the USA with american raw materials. they were a company that branched off from New Process Gear back in the 80's. so if they come from the company that makes our transfer case...they must know a little more then most of the other companies.
Im not saying that the AA or poly performance kits are bad. im just saying that if it is the same price you might as well go with the JB kit.
