Bent Tie Rod Yesterday
Anyone have any recommendations on a aftermarket Tie-rod. I bent mine yesterday on the trail, luckily i was able to bend it back so i could drive it home but im definatley in need of a new one! I know the V8 grand cherokee swap is an easy/cheap/great solution but just wondering if anyone else has something different????
Thanks Taylor

wish you would of looked at mine yesterday. you would of seen what the v-8 gc looks like comparied to a stock xj.
i've been looking at aftermarket ones today online, just can't justify buying something else to replace what i've got.
lt may not be the strongest in the world but it beets the hell outta a stock xj.
i got mine outta pick an pull for $8 with good tre's an boots.
had fun sorry you had to go, save your money on the tie rod an get a locker or 2

I picked up a iron rock off road solid tie rod. It uses the stock TRE's. It is a really nice piece for the money. Being solid I have no doubts it will not fail. The TRE's will fail before the bar will.
I think it was less than 90 bucks to my door.

I run the Currie set up. Had it on for about 8 months of regular wheeling with no problems and I've ran my tierod into a rock on several occasions.
