Default Belt help on a hybrid stroker

I recently swapped a 4.6 stroker into my renix XJ and did the 01 manifold swap as well. I updated to the 96-98 P/S pump bracket and tensioner, but now I can't find a belt for the life of me. I've taken 8 trips to Autozone without success. Does anyone know the part number for the belt?!

I've already asked huntingman2706217 to no avail...

Take a string and run it where the belt would go. Then measure the length and hit up a good parts store.

I would try a different parts store. Finding a belt when you have the length just isn't that hard. ( just make dam sure you have ran your rope around the pulleys correctly when you were measuring )

How do you get the incorrect belt length if given the measurement?

I would find another guy or store to work with.

Autozone always gives me the wrong parts, tools, etc. I refuse to go there, Advanced Auto is where I love to go now. Guys are a lot more knowledgeable and always get me the right stuff, and double check what's in the box before handing a part to me, and let me inspect it myself. Also, their house brand for parts seems to be higher quality. Just great service.

Yeah we have some real characters that work at my autozone. It seems like they know nothing about cars. Its almost just as bad when I head over to Oreiley's. Not sure who does the hiring at these auto parts stores nowadays.

Napa.

As a mechanic, who went and worked for autozone, it is run so hack, they train thier employees so hack, they hire people as managers with no car knowledge so the only thing they know about cars is what the znet(computer) tells them.

That place should be avoided like aids.

I would say it depends on the store. No one can say all locations suck, and there is one store near me that isn't a crap stand.

Agreed, it's the people and their background that effects how useful or useless they are......the NAPA by my is a nut house but the one 25 miles away is top notch....same with the Autozone....., but there is one guy in there who really knows his stuff.......however if you ask the right questions and perhaps go online with those places you can at least walk in there with as much as if not more knowledge of what you need then they have....LOL....just saying.
