A viper grade t56 would be perfect. Been building BBF for years and as long as you use the right builder and parts, they can handle well into 2300tq from the fly. Just not sure if they make a bell housing for it.

Its going to be a 2wd lvled jeep. It is perfect for a jeep, so how so? The longer gears will suit it well with how light the jeep is. But overall i already have a 4 speed top loader bolted to the motor as it sits. Just want a 2wd version if i do use it. VERY RARE in my parts. My drivetrain as it sits goes for 2k plus and i got it for $450 . Someone had no idea what they had. Younger kids

Before we get into a pissing argument over what transmission, yes the 4 speed and 3 speed top loaders would be the strongest. The SM465 is a great tranny but not what i want, Muncie makes a great product but it would struggle to handle the tq in the casing. Great for SB but the tq out of a BB is ALOT different!!! But it will be a DD and a 5 speed or 6 speed seems more realistic unless i go with a fully custom 6 speed auto TCI tranny. Which would be where i should go but not in the budget.

I'll admit, i though my XJ had a frame too because of the uni-rails when i first got it.
You mean FSJs. Full Size Jeep like the J10, J20, Wagoneer and Chief.
