I got my 00 XJ in late winter as a bit of a beater.

I have dealt with
-No oil pressure at idle even after HV pump and ridiculously heavy oil (Got complete engine with 28k to put in soon).
-Aftermarket Rear top shock mounts which kept loosening (Now welded).
-Noisy heat shield and hole in exhaust (Fixed)...
-Hatch that rattled and would not open right (Fixed)...

The one thing that drove me nuts was battery hold down put on by the previous owner (Bungee Cord). So I went out to the local junk yard and bought the best one I could find for $25! I brought it home and decided it was not going on. So I decided to build my own. Having access to a shop I made a few designs. Keeping in mind my battery was not the right one but I wanted to put a correct sized one in eventually so it had to fit both.

So here are the pics my 304 stainless battery holds! LOL I know I know! BTW I am replacing the battery, redoing the cables and fabbing some stainless hold down hardware I don't drive the truck much so I just mess with it when I have time.
